Cast Iron Welding Electrode

AWS ENi-CI

Description:

ENi-CI(Ni99) is a cast iron welding rod with pure nickel core and strong reducing graphite coating. When welding, the weldment does not need to be preheated. It has good crack resistance and processing performance. Used for repair welding of thin cast iron parts and machined surfaces, such as engine seats, machine tool guide rails, gear seats and other important gray cast iron parts.

 Application:

Suitable for maximum machinability of highly diluted weld metal is required or where weld stresses are not overly severe such as found in light and medium-sized castings. Common uses include thin plates, machinery parts, frames, and housings.

AWS ENiFe-CI

Description:

ENiFe-CI(Ni55)is a cast iron welding rod with a nickel-iron alloy core and a strong reducing graphite coating. It has the characteristics of high strength, good plasticity, and low linear expansion coefficient. Suitable for repair welding of important high-strength gray castings and ductile iron castings, such as cylinders, engine seats, gears, rollers, etc.

Application:

Suited for welding heavy sections such as motor blocks, housings, machine parts, frames, defective castings and building-up worn sections.
